Five provinces. Twenty-five branches. One trusted name in South African betting.
From Joburg to Cape Town, from Nelspruit to Bloemfontein, BetXchange is where you are. On the high street and on your screen. In your province and in your corner. This is a truly national sportsbook, built from the ground up by South Africans, for South Africans.
The BetXchange network across South Africa
Every province in our network has its own story. Here's how BetXchange shows up across the country.
The heartland
This is where it all started. Keith Ho Racing launched in Gauteng in 1988, and the province remains the beating heart of BetXchange today. From Johannesburg to Pretoria, Soweto to Springs, Roodepoort to Benoni, Gauteng has more BetXchange branches than anywhere else. It's home base, and it always will be.
Cape Town and beyond
BetXchange brought its brand to the Mother City with branches in Goodwood, Mitchells Plain, and Parklands. The Western Cape is home to a growing community of punters who love both the retail experience and the online platform. Sun, sport, and smart betting.
From East London to Gqeberha
The Eastern Cape network includes branches in East London, PE Central, Gqeberha, and Salsoneville. BetXchange is proud to serve this passionate sports community, bringing the same premium experience found in Gauteng to the Eastern Cape.
Nelspruit and the lowveld
The 2017 move to Ekukhanyeni Shopping Centre in Nelspruit gave Mpumalanga a proper BetXchange destination. Bigger screens, more seating, better access, and a dedicated horse racing room. Mpumalanga punters deserve the best, and that's exactly what they get.
Bloemfontein and Welkom
The 2018 launch in Bloemfontein was a celebration. A brand-new branch built around community, comfort, and the full BetXchange experience. Add Welkom to the map, and the Free State has a growing BetXchange presence that's only getting stronger.

A truly South African sportsbook
BetXchange wasn't built in a London boardroom or a Malta office. It was built here, by South Africans who understand the sport, the culture, and the punters. Licensed, regulated, and rooted in the communities it serves. Read the full story.
The power of both
Most sportsbooks are either online-only or retail-only. BetXchange is both, and that's a real advantage.
Prefer to bet from your couch? The platform and mobile apps (Android + iOS) have you covered. Want the atmosphere of a live viewing with other fans? Walk into any branch. Need to deposit cash? Do it at the counter. Want to check your online account while watching the game on a big screen? That works too.
Twenty-five branches and a nationwide digital platform, working together. That's the BetXchange model, and it's built for how South Africans actually bet.
The racecourses that shaped the brand
BetXchange's roots trace back to the rings and rails of Turffontein, Greyville, Kenilworth, and beyond. The full story of SA's racecourse culture and how it connects to the brand lives on our Racing Culture page.
